Disclaimer

Unofficial fan site

Soap Gold is an independent, unofficial fan publication celebrating soap history. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to ITV, Emmerdale or Coronation Street. All programme titles, character names and related marks belong to their respective owners. We use no ITV stills, logos or publicity photographs anywhere on the Site; our brand artwork is original.

History, told carefully

Our features retell storylines that were broadcast in the past. We check every feature against the original broadcasts, published listings and synopses, and contemporary cast and producer interviews. Where a detail rests on a single source or on fans’ memories, we label it as such; fan theories are always labelled as theories.

Accuracy

We aim for accuracy in everything we publish and correct confirmed errors promptly. If you spot a mistake, please tell us via the Contact page.

The Site displays advertising, which helps fund it and does not influence our editorial coverage. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to control them.
